Shipping Policy

Payment Options

  • We accept PayPal, credit cards, and debit cards. No PayPal account is needed to check out.
  • Amazon Payments are also available.

Shipping Details

  • Free Shipping: Orders over $50 within the continental USA.
  • Standard Shipping: Via USPS First Class Mail for domestic and international orders.
  • Upgraded Shipping: Priority Mail and Express Mail options are available for faster delivery (does not affect production time for handmade items).
  • Signature Required: Orders over $150 will require a signature upon delivery.

Important Shipping Information

  • Double-check your shipping address before placing an order to ensure safe delivery.
  • Monitor tracking information and notify us of any issues promptly.
  • We are not responsible for packages lost, stolen, or damaged during transit unless shipping insurance is purchased. Contact us to add this option.
  • If a package is returned due to an incorrect address or missed delivery attempts, reshipping fees will apply.

International Buyers

  • International delivery typically takes 10-15 business days but may be delayed by customs.
  • Check your country’s customs regulations for additional fees or taxes, as these are the buyer’s responsibility.
  • For unsupported destinations, we recommend using a forwarding service like "Shipito."

Force Majeure Clause

Cuckoo Nest Art Studio is not responsible for shipping delays caused by unforeseen events such as weather, natural disasters, or postal service disruptions.


Returns & Exchanges

Return Policy

  • Items must be returned within 30 days in their original, unused condition with no signs of wear, odor, or damage.
  • Personalized or engraved items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs unless we made an error. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Damaged or Late Returns

  • Returns received after 30 days or in unsatisfactory condition will not be eligible for a refund or exchange. Customers may request the item to be shipped back at their expense.

Exchanges

  • Each order is eligible for one exchange within the 30-day window.\n- Personalized or engraved items are final sale and cannot be exchanged.\n- Buyers are responsible for shipping costs related to exchanges.

Resize Policy

  • If the wrong size is ordered, we offer resizing services for 50% of the original price plus shipping costs.
  • Items must not be personalized and must be returned in original condition.

Unclaimed Items

  • Unclaimed items will be held for three months before being donated. During this period, we will make at least two attempts to contact the customer via email or phone to arrange retrieval. If no response is received within the three-month timeframe, the item will be considered forfeited and donated to a local charity or community organization.
  • By not responding within the three-month period, customers forfeit their right to a refund or exchange as the item is considered abandoned and donated. This policy ensures clarity and helps us manage storage efficiently.

Warranty & Repairs

Warranty

  • We offer a one-year warranty on craftsmanship. Repairs due to craftsmanship issues are free within this period.
  • The warranty does not cover crystal, damage from improper handling, accidents, normal wear and tear, or water damage.

Repair Services

  • Repairs outside the warranty period or for wear and tear are available at a reasonable charge plus shipping costs.
  • Watch faces are guaranteed for one year and will be replaced once during this period if mailed back to us.

Cancellation Policy

  • Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placement.
  • Cancellations after 24 hours are subject to a 20% fee to cover material costs and preparation.
  • Changes to wrist size are accepted within 1 day of order placement. After that, a 20% fee will apply.

Dispute Policy

  • If a customer files a dispute for a prior order, we reserve the right to cancel any new or pending orders associated with that customer. A full refund will be issued for canceled orders.
  • We will actively contest chargebacks we believe to be unjustified. By placing an order, you agree to resolve disputes with us directly before initiating a chargeback.

Custom and Personalized Orders

  • Q: Can I request a custom strap or make changes to an existing design? \n A: Yes! Email us your specifications, and we’ll work together to create your perfect piece. Custom orders are final sale.
  • Q: What customization options are available? \n A: Options include engraving messages, monograms, or logos; changing leather color; and swapping watch faces. Custom designs must adhere to existing shapes and materials.

Care Instructions

  • Q: How should I care for my leather items? \n A: Avoid water exposure. Spot clean with a damp cloth and condition sparingly using leather conditioner.
  • Q: How do I maintain the distressed look of my band? \n A: Apply conditioner only to the back of the leather to preserve the front’s distressed finish.

Shipping & Delivery

  • Q: How long does it take to receive my order? \n A: Handmade leather bands ship in 1-3 weeks. Jewelry ships in 1-3 business days.
  • Q: Can I expedite my order? \n A: While we don’t offer rush orders, contact us to discuss time-sensitive needs. Shipping upgrades are available at checkout.

Warranty & Repairs

  • Q: What is covered under the warranty? \n A: Craftsmanship issues within one year. Wear and tear or damage from improper handling is not covered.
